How to Send Large Files Through Email

Often we use third-part websites like WeTransfer to transfer large or heavier files or send that file by splitting into smaller sizes. But so far you could send files up to a maximum of 25 MB on Gmail. Now you can send files up to 10 GB through your mail. You need to get help from Google Drive. By which you can send files without any hassle.

Today I  will tell you how to send your big file via Gmail using Google Drive.

Note: Let me tell you that for this you need to have a Gmail account. If you do not have a Gmail account, first create a Gmail account.

What is Google Drive?

Google Drive is a free Google service that lets you store files on online cloud storage. You can keep or share those files anywhere. Apart from this, you get many other features such as documents, spreadsheets, etc. in Google Drive.

How to use Google Drive to Send Large Files?

1. Open your Gmail account first.

2. Now click on the compose on the left-hand side of your account. Where a box will open to create a new mail

3. There you will see many icons at bottom in the “compose mail”, one of which will also show the option of Google Drive. Now click on the Google Drive icon.

4. Clicking on Google Drive will open the Google Drive box in front of you. There you can see all the previously uploaded files on your Google Drive account.

5. Select the file which you have to send as an attachment via email. You can select more than one file and up to 10 GB.

6. Click “Insert” button to insert the file. There are options to send as “Drive Link” or “Attachment“, select the second one.

Now, your desired Google Drive file(s) is attached in the email. From the very next time, you can easily send a heavy file to anyone through email.
